My son and I were traveling west from eastern Canada to Las Vegas when the manual transmission in my 2002 Toyota Corolla failed just west of Flagstaff Arizona on I40. Keeping the car in the lower gears we were able to slowly get back to Flagstaff. The next morning I spoke with Julie at Trans-Mission Man and she kindly offered for them to look at the vehicle right away. By the time we got to the garage, Julie had arranged for a rental car. Both of these first experiences were good initial indicators of the service Trans-Mission Man provides. To keep costs down Julie was able to locate a used transmission in Phoenix and had shipped it to Flagstaff. Joe, one of the Trans-Mission Man mechanics did an outstanding job in getting the replacement transmission installed. It's been working flawlessly since then. Julie then offered for me to stop by the shop on my return trip back east to do a quick check of the transmission, which I did. Trans-Mission Man provided honest service that resulted in a renewed reliable transmission and vehicle.
